We invite you to visit the exhibition of Ukrainian photographer Roman Pashkovsky “Lost Childhood” — a project that it is impossible to watch without emotions.
Through the photographer’s lens, visitors will see the eyes of Ukrainian children whose childhood was destroyed by war. These are the stories of young Ukrainians who survived occupation, forced displacement, loss of relatives, and returning home after illegal deportation.
Each photo it is not just a photo. It is a testimony of crimes against children, the pain of separation, and at the same time strength, hope, and indomitability.
The exhibition also presents drawings and personal stories of children that allow us to see the war through their eyes and understand the price that Ukraine pays for its freedom.
The exhibition is provided as part of the international initiative Bring Kids Back UA — a humanitarian program created to return illegally deported Ukrainian children and draw the attention of the world community to this problem. The initiative unites the efforts of Ukrainian state bodies, international partners, and civil society to return every Ukrainian child home.
Organizers of the event:
Consulate of Ukraine in Thessaloniki
Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine
Union of Greeks of Ukraine in Greece
We invite representatives of the Ukrainian community, Greek friends of Ukraine, journalists and all those who care to join this important event and honor children whose childhood was stolen by war.
